Tara Skinner - Broker
Tara is a third-generation member of the Kerns family that developed the Cold Springs and Peter Pam Subdivisions. One of her first jobs was reading the water meters for Cold Springs Water. Back then each water box needed to be checked by hand, and it could be quite a hike to reach them at times. When the market opened in Cold Springs, she found an indoor job working at Fuel & Food operated by the owners of Strawberry Store. She continued working on weekends while attending CSU Stanislaus during the week until employed for Save Mart. After twelve years of employment, she and her husband moved back to Tuolumne County to raise their family. They are blessed with four amazing children that have all attended Summerville Elementary and Summerville High School. Over the years, many sporting events were attended, girl scout meetings, school plays, art shows, and school performances for all of their children. Tara joined the family Brokerage in 2004 and became the Broker in 2026. Family is important and being able to have a successful career while being present as a mom has been one of her biggest blessings. A local girl, ready to help you with your real estate needs.
